
Shielded heat shrink sleeve is a composite of heat shrink polyolefin tubing and a flexible shrink conductive layer. By heating the surface of the polyolefin heat shrink tubing, it shrinks simultaneously with the conductive layer, providing effective EMI shielding for cable/connector termination.

This type of shielded heat shrink sleeve saves weight and is easier to manufacture than traditional metal braid. Its shielding efficiency reaches 35–70 dB in the frequency range 14–10 GHz.
1) High shielding efficiency. It has a very wide shielding band, effective in the 14-10 GHz range, and can meet the stringent requirements of electronic equipment. After cutting and shrinking, the shielding efficiency reaches more than 50dB, which is much higher than that of conventional shielded cables.
2) Light weight compared to commonly used anti-wave sleeves, the weight reduction is more than 35% without considering the use of protective heat-shrinkable tubes for anti-wave sleeves. Particularly for small diameters, weight reduction of more than 60%.
3) Good flexibility. Since the protective layer is made of polymer material, it has very good flexibility and can be bent as desired without damaging the protective layer.
4) Easy to use: use a hair dryer commonly used for construction, it is convenient and fast.
5) The standard product shrinkage rate exceeds 50%, electromagnetic protection and high shrinkage heat shrink tubes with a shrinkage rate of more than 75% can also be processed.

(1) Clean the connectors (cables).
(2) Select a suitable heat shrink tube to cover the connector.
(3) Use a hot air fan (hair dryer) to heat the heat shrink tube.
(4) Transfer connections (cables) or hot air machine, shrink tube with uniform heating.
(5)Additionally shrink the heat shrink tube.
(6) Complete the shielding of the connector (cable).
